Summary of Findings
The Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly scored 54 per cent in the overall assessment of its performance, based on the GAS audit findings. Strengths: SKDA spent within budget and followed structures in place for monitoring projects. Weaknesses: The Assembly failed to issue any of the contractual certificates under the contract to contractors.

The Assembly should liaise with the Local Service Secretariat and the NDPC to train the technical DPCU members who directly engage with the community to follow the guidelines/manual for engaging the community and use the templates for documenting the process. DPCU capture all projects in the Annual Budgets or Supplementary Budgets. el to determine the reliability of the analysis carried out by the evaluation panel. Assembly provide capacity building and the necessary logistics to the DWD to increase the Engineers visit to project sites to supervise the works. The Assembly should ensure winning tenders accept offer of award before signing contract agreement with them.
