Recommendation
1. The Assembly should sustain its efforts in involving the communities in the initiation and planning of capital projects and also develop a culture of documenting its interactions with the local citizens. 2. The Assembly should retrieve the necessary information concerning procurements of capital works, outsourced to third parties for their records. 3. The District Works Department should maintain its supervisory role to ensure that works are done to specifications in contract. Also the Assembly should analyse and explain the variances between actual and plan activities to inform future decision making. 4. The Assembly should put mechanisms in place to assess the impact of completed projects so that lessons learnt from past event would inform future decisions.
